Argos officials opened bids for this year’s Community Crossings projects this week.
As a reminder, Argos was awarded a total of $926,970.24 in the most recent grant round. They have a few major projects they’re planning to tackle with those funds.
One project will be putting in roads, sidewalks and curbs at the Colonial Estates subdivision. That project will involve paving Constitution, Freedom and Independence Streets. Since that will require quite a bit of work, it was bid as its own project.
The other planned work, paving on Woodland Trail and Westview Court, was bid together as one project.
Officials decided to take the bids under advisement for the time being. A decision will likely be made at the next town council meeting on Wednesday, March 6th.
