Plymouth School Board Reorganizes for 2019

The Plymouth School Board reorganized for the New Year when they met Monday night.

Following the pledge of allegiance, the oath of office was administered to re-elected members Melissa Christiansen and Larry Pinkerton.

Members went on to vote on board officer positions. Todd Samuelson was retained as president, Melissa Christiansen was selected to serve as vice president and Robin Cupka was elected to the secretary position.

Board members unanimously approved the consent agenda as presented.

The board’s compensation was among the items that were approved. According to documents provided through the interactive BoardDocs agenda, board compensation is $2,000 and single medical, dental and vision insurance is available to members at no additional cost.

Additionally, by accepting all consent items unanimously, the board members approved a meeting schedule for 2019.

They plan to meet on the first Tuesday of the month, with the exception of the months of February, April and October when meetings will be held on the second Tuesday and December when they will members will meet on the first Monday of the month.
