Triton School Board Officially Approves New Transportation Director

A Triton School Corporation bus driver was recently promoted to the position of transportation director.

When Triton School Board members met last Tuesday they officially accepted Laura Baker’s resignation from the position of bus driver and approved her as the new transportation director. She was also approved for the position of corporation secretary.

Superintendent Jeremy Riffle said that Baker has been training with former transportation director Mindy Klotz for the past few weeks. Riffle added that while she will no longer have a full-time route, Baker may be asked to substitute from time to time.

With Baker leaving the position of a full-time bus driver, there were some other adjustments that had to be made as well. Riffle said board members approved promoting substitute bus-driver Kenneth Cooke to full-time status and hired Marikay DeCrow as a full-time preschool bus driver.
