Plymouth Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson and his staff were commended by the officials of Kokosing Industrial who worked on upgrades at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Mayor Mark Senter read the letter aloud during this week’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting where the company officials said the Plymouth project was one of the most successful projects and one they use to highlight their capabilities to future customers.
The company worked in collaboration with the city to complete the project. In a previous meeting, Davidson said the city saved more than $100,000 as inspections were done in house. The city and the company were able to work together to provide the safest way about upgrading the entire plant without disruption of service to residents.
Kokosing Industrial officials say that Davidson is a role model when talking about collaborative efforts. They were able to work productively as issues were addressed to save time and money.
Board of Public Works and Safety member Jeff Houin stated that if the company was able to work with the other city departments, Kokosing Industrial would have similar things to say about the work done by all departments.
The letter was officially accepted into the minutes of the meeting Monday night.
