A Plymouth man was taken to jail, after a single-vehicle crash that police say left him and his passenger injured. It happened around 4:40 Saturday morning in the area of U.S. 31 and Michigan Road, according to Marshall County Police.

Officers say David Medina, 32, and his passenger were both taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth, due to their injuries. At the hospital, Medina was allegedly found to be twice the legal limit for alcohol and also allegedly tested positive for cocaine. He’s also accused of driving without a license. Police say Medina was treated for minor injuries and later taken to the Marshall County Jail.

A few hours earlier, Tina Marie Wright, 56, of Rochester, was arrested in a separate incident, according to Marshall County Police. Officers say they got a report of an extremely erratic driver heading southbound on U.S. 31. When they pulled her over near 16th Road, Wright was allegedly found to be intoxicated and in possession of controlled substances.
