Local Law Enforcement Agencies Assist UNIT Officers with Multi-County Warrant Sweep

Marshall County Prosecutor Nelson Chipman shared a slew of arrests that were made by the Undercover Narcotics Investigation Team (UNIT) during a recent warrant sweep.

The Team was assisted by a variety of local law enforcement agencies. The collective effort spanned multiple counties and resulted in more than 15 drug-related arrests.

According to Chipman, Plymouth Police assisted UNIT officers with several cases, including the arrests of Anthony Long, Nicole Dewitt and Matthew Schoff. Each of the alleged suspects had warrants issued for the Level 4 Felony of Dealing in Methamphetamine. They all received a $25,000 cash bond.

Plymouth Police helped the UNIT with the arrest of Justine Pittman-Bottorff and Rebecca McDonald who both had warrants issued for the Sale of a Schedule I-III Controlled Substance. Pittman-Bottorff faced a Level 3 Felony charge while McDonald was charged with a Level 4 Felony. They both received a $25,000 cash bond once they were jailed.

Joshua Costilla was arrested by UNIT officers with the assistance of Plymouth Police following an investigation that led to the issuance of a warrant for the Level 6 Felony of Dealing in a Look-a-Like Substance. An additional case developed during his arrest for dealing in Marijuana. He was given a $10,000 cash bond.

Patrick Leary was also arrested due to the joint effort of UNIT and the Plymouth Police. An investigation into Leary led to the issuance of a warrant for the B Misdemeanor of Visiting a Common Nuisance. An additional case developed during his arrest for Possession of Methamphetamine.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the arrest of Alex Blanco after an investigation resulted in the issuance of a warrant for the Level 3 Felony charge of Dealing in Cocaine. He was booked with a $40,000 cash bond.

The UNIT was assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department with the arrest of Jason Goad who had a warrant issued for the Level 5 Felony of Dealing in Methamphetamine. He received a $25,000 cash bond.

The Starke County Sheriff’s Department also helped out during the sweep. They assisted with the arrest of Adam Wagers who had a warrant issued for the Level 3 Felony of Dealing in Methamphetamine. They also helped arrest Otho Pulluaim Jr. who had a warrant for the Level 4 Felony of Dealing in a Schedule I-III Controlled Substance.

Wagers was given a cash bond of $15,000 while Pulluaim Jr. received a $25,000 cash bond.

Starke County officers helped bring in Chad Noah who had a warrant issued for the Level 4 Felony charge of dealing in Methamphetamine. He received a $25,000 cash bond. They also assisted with the arrest of Brandyn Garbison who had a warrant out for the Level 6 Felony of Dealing in Cocaine or a Narcotic. He was given a $10,000 cash bond.

Additionally, warrants for the Level 4 Felony charge of Dealing in Methamphetamine were issued to John Loftus, Christopher Boyne, Ashley Bunton, Uriah Miller and Aaron Egger following various UNIT investigations.

The Indiana Department of Correction pitched in during the John Loftus case, Culver Police assisted UNIT Officers with the arrest of Christopher Boyne, the South Bend Police Department helped arrest Ashley Bunton as well as Uriah Miller and the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the arrest of Aaron Egger. They all received cash bonds of $25,000.
