Members of the Marshall County Stellar Crossroads Initiative will be going to Indianapolis on Thursday to present the county’s plan for projects if designated a Regional Stellar Community.
Bremen Director of Operations Trend Weldy told the Bremen Town Council members that he attended the Marshall County Economic Development Foundation’s meeting Tuesday morning where the presenters had a dress rehearsal for Thursday’s event.
“They did a really nice job,” said Weldy. “It was really well done. I think we had 15 or 16 presenters and about 30 people in the audience critiquing them in the end and gave them a lot of good advice and different things to do. It went very well.”
The presentation will be made before the members of the Regional Stellar Communities Designation Program and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs. If awarded, the county will have millions of dollars to help get the projects underway in all of the municipalities in Marshall County.
