The Culver Town Council reviewed an ordinance Tuesday night that would rezone a parcel between 18600 State Road 10 and 18550 State Road 10 from Residential-1 to Commercial-2.
The Culver Plan Commission gave a favorable recommendation to the council at a previous meeting where the town council members conducted a public hearing on Nov. 13. No public comment was offered.
A developer requested the rezoning in order to construct a general commercial retail business at that location. The property may be annexed in a future meeting in order to meet the requirement of connecting commercial property to town water and sewer services.
The town council voted unanimously to approve the second and third reading of the rezoning ordinance.
