Argos Town Council Agrees to Supply Power and Water for Summer Events

Community events with food trucks, vendors and other activities are held in Plymouth and Bourbon on certain Fridays during the summer months. Argos officials are currently working out the specifics for “TGIF Argos” so they’ll be able to launch their own series this coming summer.

At a previous meeting, Argos Library Director Jane Hall shared some details with the council members.

She noted that series would probably kick off in June and run through October. She added that the events would likely be held on the fourth Friday of each month. While those ideas were shared, nothing was finalized.

Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney reported that during this week’s town council meeting, the members agreed to supply power and water for the events.

Town officials will continue to discuss “TGIF Argos” more in the future. If you’re interested in helping out, contact Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney at 574-892-5717 or Library Director Jane Hall at 574-892-5818.
