Argos Teacher Recognized as AP-TIP Teacher of the Year Finalist Two Years in a Row

Argos School Board members took a moment to recognize an exceptional instructor when they met last Monday.

Superintendent Ned Speicher shared that for the second year in a row, a Jr./Sr. High School AP calculus teacher Jonathan Arndt was selected as a Math Teacher of the Year finalist through Notre Dame’s Advanced Placement Teacher Investment Program (AP-TIP).

Speicher said, “He was honored by Notre Dame and the school board and myself recognized him for an outstanding job of leading our kids with advanced placement, college-credit calculus. It was a nice evening to celebrate his success and our students’ success.”

2018 marks the sixth year of this program which was designed to increase the number of high school students earning college credit from their successes in Advanced Placement math, science, and English courses.
