The Bremen Town Council is making preparations for an upcoming stormwater utility project.
Director of Operations Trend Weldy said one of the first steps is setting up dates for the Stormwater Board to meet.
“The first meeting for our Stormwater Board will be Oct. 29 at 4:30 p.m. at the Bremen Town Hall,” said Weldy. “The rate ordinance will be introduced. On Nov. 19, the Stormwater Board will meet again for a public rate hearing and adopt a rate ordinance.”
Weldy said previously that the town council discussed implementing a user fee or a bond issue.
