The countdown continues in anticipation of the unveiling of the new logo for the Town of Argos. This journey started back in June when Argos officials entered into an agreement with Kerri Martin, the owner of Red Door Marketing.
Back in July, town council members approved a new logo created by the company and this week residents are invited to a reception where that logo will finally be revealed. The event will be held at 5:30 p.m. in Argos Town Hall on Wednesday, September 12th.
State officials including Senator Randy Head and the Maureen Hayden, the Director of Intergovernmental Relations from the Office of Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch are expected to be in attendance.
The new emblem emphasizes the town’s park and more closely resembles the school corporation’s logo. In a press release about the upcoming event, Martin noted that the value of small towns is being recognized now more than ever.
She added that due to work-life balance, connections, good schools, employment and housing opportunities, former childhood residents are moving back to their hometowns to enrich their adult lives since the benefits of a warm community and rich traditions are offering families the stability they seek. She noted that the Town of Argos embodies those high-quality living standards and the new logo was created to reflect that.
