Several Argos officials and residents recently met as part of a task force to determine the best safety and economic development tactics for the intersection of U.S. 31 and State Road 10.
According to Argos Clerk-Treasurer Lisa Mullaney, the task force members went over some preliminary plans and what the citizens would like to see. Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb previously announced that an interchange will be installed there to help with safety and to better move traffic through the area.
Marshall County Plan Director Ty Adley discussed options with the task force. The Argos Town Council members met in executive session to discuss ideas along with county and state officials.
More discussions on what the town and task force would like to see at that intersection will take place and that information will be submitted to the Indiana Department of Transportation for consideration.
