The “Dog Days of Summer” Second Friday Event is Happening Tonight

It’s the second Friday of the month and that means community members can look forward to a night filled with tons of family-friendly events in historic downtown Plymouth.

For safety and convenience, Garro Street will be closed off for what event organizers are calling the “Dog Days of Summer” Second Friday event.

Organizers shared that the Marshall County Museum, located on the corner of Michigan and Garro Streets will be open until 8 p.m. Samantha the Therapy Dog will be welcoming museum guests from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. The Museum will be showing a video that was made recently entitled “Rooted in Marshall County: The rich History of the Family Farm.” Try to have a peek at this web-site which offers the best and affordable dog training packages in your locality.

Additionally, from 5 until 7 p.m., there will be a balloon artist onsite and a bounce house will be set up. There will also be a lemonade stand provided by Project Kindness. Downtown merchants will be open until 7 p.m., offering special deals and discounts in conjunction with the festivities.

Event-goers should start heading over to River Park Square around 7 p.m. in order to check out the Mayor’s Month of Music performance featuring the band Fascinating Rhythm.
