No additional candidates filed by yesterday’s deadline to be included in town conventions for available seats on the Culver Town Council and the Bourbon Town Council.
The town conventions will be scheduled to determined the candidates for the November General Election ballot.
Two candidates will be chosen to be listed on the General Election ballot in Marshall County for the Culver Town Council. Incumbent Republicans David Beggs and Sally Ricciardi have filed along with Bill Cleavenger and Bill Githens.
Two Republican candidates have filed for the lone Bourbon Town Council seat open in the General Election. Either Incumbent Les McFarland or Jordon Fuller will move on to the November ballot.
The chosen candidates will face any Democrat opponents in the General Election.
The town conventions will be held before Aug. 28.
