The Marshall County Council members will meet in regular session today.
Sheriff Matt Hassel will speak to the council about the jail and about the need to expand. He spoke with the county commissioners on the topic last week.
Highway Supervisor Jason Peters will present a road update to the council members as well as a request for an additional appropriation in the amount of $300,000 to complete this year’s road program.
Newly installed Plan Director Ty Adley will discuss budget items for 2019 for the plan commission and Community Corrections Director Ward Byers will present a salary ordinance for Fiscal Year 2019 for approval.
Other additional appropriation requests and the 2019 council meeting schedule will be discussed when the Marshall County Council meeting begins today at 9 a.m. in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
