Officials from Indiana Department of Transportation want motorists to be aware of a couple of bridge projects starting in Marshall County this week.
A bridge construction project starting on U.S 31 in Argos today (Tuesday, August 14th) will create lane closures until early September. Officials say that work will take place in a one-mile stretch of U.S. 31, just south of State Road 10. Traffic will reportedly flow on the outside lanes only in both directions.
Additionally, a bridge project on State Road 106 in Bremen that will begin on Wednesday, August 15th will close the road until early October. The bridge is located less than a quarter-mile east of U.S. 6, over Bunch Ditch.
INDOT officials state that eastbound drivers will be detoured east on U.S. and south on State Road 331 back to State Road 106 while Westbound drivers will be detoured north on State Road 331 and west on U.S. 6 back toward the closure.
