The system that records time and attendance of Marshall County employees recently underwent an update as well as the county’s financial system.
Auditor Julie Fox told the Marshall County Commissioners this week that the county will be saving money on checks as all of the payroll information will be available online. Each employee will be issued a login and password to the website available so that information can be viewed online. The direct deposit method of payroll will remain the same.
The system administrators will help the employees get set up. An online tutorial will be available to assist them. The employee rollout is Aug. 10.
Fox said it will also offer the retention schedules for employees that are required by the state.
