Plymouth BOW/City Council to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will consider a sidewalk request and a right-of-way request for PEG Broadband when they meet tonight. A request to remove the two-hour parking limit on Water Street between Garro and Washington Streets will be considered.

The department heads will update the board on projects during their meeting that begins at 6 p.m.

The Plymouth City Council members will meet directly after this meeting, or at 6:30 p.m., where they will hold three public hearings. The hearings will allow residents to comment on the waiver of non-compliance for Tex-Tyler Tax Abatement, and additional appropriations for the General Fund and the Crime Prevention Fund. If favorable, the council members will consider resolutions pertaining to the content of these hearings.

Following the hearings, the council will consider adopting ordinances to create a fund for the Aquatics Center and create TIF 3 Debt Service Reserve Fund.

City Attorney Sean Surrisi will discuss an ordinance regarding various fees for the City of Plymouth and a contract between the city and Get Fit Get Healthy. He will also present a resolution that pertains to The Very Nice People, LLC for a commercial revitalization rebate program grant.

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Plymouth City Council members will meet in the Fire Department Meeting Room at 111 N. Center Street in Plymouth.
