Marshall County Highway Department crews will start paving 6th Road from Rose Road to Plymouth-La Porte Trail today. The road will be closed for paving and will be under construction for the rest of the week. The road will reopen at the end of each day. Travelers are to expect uneven pavement in the area. Drive with caution.
Highway Supervisor Jason Peters also notes that crews will continue to apply primer on roads for surface treatment. This will occur on Sycamore north of U.S 6 to 1st Road, if weather allows tomorrow (Thursday). Workers will move to German Township and finish in Bourbon Township to complete the process.
PASER ratings will be conducted for the 2018 asset management plan. This is a process that needs to be done before Community Crossing matching grant applications are due.
