Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch will be in Culver today to see what progress has been made on some of the complimentary projects within the Town of Culver’s Stellar Communities Designation Program.
Town Manager Jonathan Leist told the Culver Town Council members Tuesday night that Crouch will be touring the Sand Hill Farms workforce housing development project at 540 W. Jefferson Street and the first phase of the walking and biking trail at the Culver Town Park. The Marshall County Highway Department supplied the asphalt as an in-kind contribution toward Culver’s Stellar effort. Some back fill was added to the sides of the trail as a safety precaution.
The tour will occur after a quarterly meeting with the state agencies and Office of Community and Rural Affairs involved in the Stellar Communities Designation Program.
