John Glenn School Board Approves Textbook Purchases

The John Glenn School Board members took action Tuesday night to approve the textbook adoption for the next round of classes.

Textbooks were priced for the Business curriculum in the amount of just over $11,000, the Family and Consumer Science curriculum at just over $33,600 and the Agriculture curriculum at just over $19,200.

The school board members also briefly discussed the student handbooks for all four schools and the athletic handbook with very minor changes. Urey Middle School Principal Mark Maudlin said language to clear up discipline was included in his school’s handbook.

The textbooks and student handbooks were approved with a unanimous vote.
