Culver School Board Considers Policy Updates Following Legislative Changes

Changes in school bus safety regulations and a number of other laws are prompting the Culver Community Schools Corporation to update its policies. Superintendent Karen Shuman says a list of recommendations from policy consultant NEOLA was presented to the school board last week.

Culver Community Schools Focusing on Students’ Social/Emotional Learning

The Culver Community Schools Corporation is taking steps to boost students’ social and emotional learning skills. Superintendent Karen Shuman says the school board last week approved the addition of a new social/emotional academic learning coordinator, as one of a number of hirings for the new school year.

Plymouth School Board to Consider Meal Price Increase, Sale of Used Equipment Tonight

The Plymouth School Board will consider an increase in student meal prices tonight. Under the proposal, the cost of lunch would generally go up by 10 cents, while milk and breakfast prices would go up five cents, starting next school year.
