Bremen Town Council Looking at Stellar Projects

Bremen Town Council officials were among the over 100 attendees at a gathering last week in a Regional Stellar Communities Designation Program workshop. They learned how to develop projects and funding for the stellar application that includes all communities in Marshall County. The workshop was facilitated by representatives from Ball State University.

Bremen Town Attorney Anthony Wagner said one project the town council is looking at as a project to be included in the application is an informational sign where the old Clark station used to stand at the corner of State Road 331 and State Road 106. The LED sign would display important community information.

Wagner mentioned that the Bremen Public Schools board members were looking into the project as the property is near the school. The town council previously discussed the project as well and it now may be added as a Stellar project.

Wagner added that the town council may also submit a housing project as a potential project. The council members will discuss what they anticipate to do in future meetings.
