Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputies Respond to Family Argument on Sheryl Court Saturday Evening

A Plymouth man was reportedly arrested on charges of domestic battery in front of a minor less than 16-years-old, animal cruelty and resisting law enforcement when Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to Sheryl Court Saturday night.

According to an official press release, around 11:40 p.m on May 12th, deputies were dispatched to the 16500 Block of Sheryl Court in Plymouth for an argument between family. Once, on the scene, officers conducted an investigation.

The results of the investigation apparently led to the arrest of 44-year-old Chad Wayne Smith. Smith allegedly became extremely uncooperative several times during the investigation.

After 1 a.m. on Sunday, May 13th, Smith was lodged in the Marshall County Jail with a cash bond of $3,005. He was cited into the Superior Court 2 of Marshall County, according to the press release.
