Marshall County Sheriff Matt Hassel asked the commissioners for permission Monday for a prepay of some money for the Marshall County Drug Task Force.
“Our drug task force is out of their confidential funds and it’s what they buy the drugs with,” said Hassel. “I am going to make it available through our Seized and Forfeiture Fund of $5,000. I’d like a prepayment approval to go ahead and write that check to the prosecutor.”
The prosecutor will track and monitor that money from that point.
The commissioners unanimously approved the request.
