Marshall County Recorder Marlene Mahler presented two ordinances to the Marshall County Commissioners for approval concerning bulk images and watermarking.
Bulk images will increase to 16 cents an image. A watermark will be included on the photos the user needs. Fidlar Technologies will take three cents per images for the watermarking fee.
The state allows the recorder to charge up to 20 cents, but after a review of expenses, Mahler thought an increase to 16 cents would be sufficient.
The commissioners unanimously approved the bulk user agreement as presented as well as an ordinance for allowance of the watermark process to take place.
