The Marshall County Commissioners discussed action to reduce the speed limit on Veteran’s Parkway east and west of the Linden Road intersection.
The first reading of the ordinance amendment was approved that enacts a 30 mph speed limit from 650 feet west of the intersection of Linden Road to 1,020 feet east of the intersection.
The speed limit won’t be in effect until the adoption of the ordinance and a published notification to the public. Further readings are expected during the commissioners’ next meeting on May 21.
