Motorists will need to watch the speed limit on Veteran’s Parkway east and west of the Linden Road intersection.
The Marshall County Commissioners voted to adopt a speed limit that reduces the speed limit in the area to 30 mph. Commissioner Mike Delp said he spoke with the residents who live in that area and they are fine with the adjustment. Crews from the highway department are expected to post signs that warn of hidden driveways there.
The commissioners unanimously approved the second and third readings of the ordinance amendment pertaining to the speed limit change at that location.
