The John Glenn School Board members approved the purchase of two new school buses on Tuesday night.
According to Recording Secretary Lisa Sleek, two 78-passenger buses were approved for purchase in the amount of $178,360. The IC Collins buses will be delivered to the corporation at the end of August.
Two older diesel buses will be traded in which was figured into the total cost in the quotes submitted by Midwest Transit. Sleek said it was time for those buses to be rotated out of the fleet.
