Culver Town Council to Hold Public Hearing on PUD Rezoning

The Culver Town Council members will hold a public hearing on Tuesday evening that pertains to the rezoning of parcels at 17664 State Road 17 and 19456 State Road 10 to a Planned Unit Development.

A public hearing held in March led the town council to send the rezoning application submitted by developer Thomas Beste back to the technical review committee and the planning commission. Beste changed his plans to include a unanimous recommendation by the TRC and planning commission to add a designated walking and biking trail area connecting the east portion of the development to town. The revised plans also better define areas previously described as future development.

The public hearing is expected to take place during the regular town council meeting set to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET at the Culver Town Hall. Following the hearing, the council may approve a reading on an ordinance that approves the rezoning of the two parcels to a Planned Unit Development.
