The Culver Town Council members were set to open ambulance bids Tuesday night, but Town Manager Jonathan Leist said there weren’t any bids submitted.
This is the second time the ambulance was advertised for bids. In December, one bid was received for the 2002 ambulance. The bid read on record was $501. That bid was rejected and EMS Director Kathy Hart asked that it be re-bid at that time.
Since there were no bids taken for the ambulance, the town will try and advertise its availability in a broader spectrum. An auction may be set if obtaining an acceptable bid cannot be accomplished.
