The Marshall County Long Term Recovery Operation is in search of volunteer case managers.
The case managers will partner with those affected by the flood in Marshall County and set goals and plans to achieve those goals for recovery. The process involves outreach, screening and intake for services, assessment of disaster recovery needs, recovery planning, action and advocacy, monitoring recovery process, and closure.
A two-day training session will be required in order to effectively help flood victims.
Jane Crady, President of Indiana Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), will be available for training this Thursday and Friday, March 15 and March 16, and March 21-23 and March 27-29. The two-day training is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
