The Marshall County Commissioners will meet today.
Marshall County Highway Supervisor Jason Peters will have an update on flood damage and other projects. A representative from the Telamon Corporation will have a presentation on energy savings and representatives from Dossett Consulting will discuss Title IV child support claims. Overtime wages for a security officer will be considered.
The regular session of the Marshall County Commissioners will be at 9:30 a.m. in the second floor meeting room of the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
At 10:30 a.m. in the same meeting room, the commissioners will hold a public hearing concerning a proposed increase in the Cumulative Bridge Fund. An increase of $.0524 per $100 assessed valuation is being considered to help collect funds to repair bridges in the county. The fund is expected to be in the red beginning next year.
Any member of the public is welcome to voice support or opposition to the proposed tax increase.
