Marshall County Commissioners (L to R) Mike Delp, Kevin Overmyer, Kurt Garner

The Marshall County Commissioners heard about two cost savings proposal Monday morning.

Bruce Breeden from Telemon Energy Corporation offered to visit all of the county buildings to do an energy savings assessment at no cost to the county. They will look at a LED lighting conversion and determine a cost savings. They have recently worked to help retrofit the Plymouth Community School Corporation.

An LED upgrade at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department is already underway. The commissioners did agree to move forward with the assessment.

Jeff Dossett from Dossett Consulting said he can help the county auditor with a cost plan that would assist county auditors in their cost allocation plans, plus county clerks, IV-D Courts and child support groups in obtaining reimbursement claims. The commissioners took the proposal under advisement.
