The Bremen Town Council members gave approval for Bremen Trash Days. Bremen Director of Operations Trend Weldy said the annual event is set for May.
“Town residents can bring old couches, beds and junk to the Town of Bremen’s dump area which is down on North Marshall Street,” said Weldy. “It’s scheduled for May 11 and May 12 from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. They can bring anything they want. We don’t take propane cylinders or old paint and stuff like that. We’ll fill 30 great big trash hoppers full of trash and junk that people clean out of their houses and yards and different things like that. It’s a good thing for the Town of Bremen.”
He said a more specific list of items that will or will not be accepted will be sent to residents.
