The Bremen Town Council members approved a tax abatement request submitted by Summit Manufacturing Monday night.
Director of Operations Trend Weldy said the company is installing new equipment.
“They bought new piece of equipment to upgrade their existing business,” said Weldy. “They’re in a medical device business and so they try to upgrade to keep up with the competition. So we did a little tax abatement for them for a $66,000 piece of equipment.”
