The end of the year is a time where many motorists travel more frequently in order to visit friends and family for various festivities.
The Thanksgiving holiday in particular is one of the busiest times for Americans traveling on the roadways. In 2015, more than 380 individuals died in the U.S. during the traditional four-day Thanksgiving weekend.
To help keep the streets safer this season, the Bremen Police Department is teaming up with hundreds of law enforcement agencies across the state for Operation Pull Over Blitz 92. The enforcement period will take place from November 10th through December 3rd.The Bremen PD wishes to remind citizens to designate a sober driver if they plan to be drinking during a holiday event. They also advise all motorists to continuing wearing seat belts whenever they’re in a vehicle.
