An assisted living facility is coming to Plymouth soon.
Plymouth City Attorney Sean Surrisi told the Plymouth City Council Monday night that officials from Autumn Trace Assisted Living in Greencastle plan to purchase land to build a new facility.
“They have an agreement to purchase land on State Road 17 just west of the hospital on the north side of 17 to develop a 54-unit assisted living facility,” explained Surrisi. “They received a zoning variance for that use, they’ve had the land re-platted and the utility department has the plans to extend water service there. If weather permits, they’d like to get the foundation and everything started yet this year and build throughout the winter.”
Autumn Trace has similar facilities in Greencastle and in Linton, Indiana.
