The United Way of Marshall County has a unique way of starting its annual fundraising campaign.
This fundraising event helps collect money for the number of member agencies and sponsored programs with United Way. The entities serve many families in need across the entire county.
The Taste of Marshall County is in its second year and is a vehicle to assist the organization in gearing up for a year of giving through United Way. The event is Saturday, Aug. 12 from 5 p. m. to 10 p.m. and will feature many selections of food to taste along with a separate beer and wine garden. Live entertainment will be provided by Shots Fired Reloaded and Southern Straightaway.
Tickets and VIP packages are available now at www.marshallcountyuw.org or at the United Way office at 2701 N. Michigan Street. Admission to the food tasting is free while a $5.00 admission charge will be requested to enter the beer and wine garden and the entertainment area.
The Taste of Marshall County will set up at the Young Amphitheater in Centennial Park in Plymouth.
