Ledyard Plant Project Complete, Richter Road Project Moving Forward

Plymouth Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson presented the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members with an update on projects this week.

The roof replacement project at the Ledyard Water Treatment Plant and filter room is complete. Davidson said the material supplier will be back soon to certify the project.

“Everything appears to be going well,” said Davidson. “We watched the entire project. We’ve had several rains since then and everything seems to be holding together well.”

Davidson commented that Haskins Underground is working on the Richter Road water main extension project and it’s moving along quickly. The wet tap connection to the existing water main at Richter and Baker Streets was scheduled to be complete this week. The crew hopes to have the pipe installed prior to Labor Day.
