Bremen Schools Possibly Opening Doors for Community Use This Coming Winter

Bremen Schools are talking of reinstating a program from the past that would benefit the community. During their meeting earlier this week, the Bremen School Board discussed the possibility of opening the building for community use on Sunday afternoons this coming winter.

Superintendent Dr. Jim White said the board seemed excited about reinstating this program which would open a few gymnasiums, the weight room and possibly the indoor swimming pool to the public during the months of January, February and March.

White said the school is hoping to partner with the Bremen Parks Department, since that is a bit of a slow time for them. Supervision will most likely be provided by a member of the faculty but White said volunteers from the community are also welcome to help.
