Wayfinding Signs Presented to Plymouth Board of Works

Visitors to the City of Plymouth will soon have some help finding their way around. The city is working with North American Signs to add wayfinding signage along Michigan Street, Oak Drive, Jefferson Street, and other heavily-trafficked areas.

City Attorney Sean Surrisi presented the designs to the Plymouth Board of Works last week. He said a committee has been working on the signs for the past several months, “It was an arduous process of trying to figure out where to put these things and what should be identified and where they should be pointing to.”

Destinations listed on the signs include the Plymouth Municipal Airport, the Marshall County Courthouse, and the downtown area, as well as schools and city parks. The signs are currently in production, and are set to be installed in time for the Marshall County Blueberry Festival in September.
