The kick-off event for the 2017 campaign for United Way is set as part of the second annual Taste of Marshall County. The Taste of Marshall County will be Saturday, Aug. 12 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The fundraising event will feature even more selections in the food garden this year and a separate beer and wine garden. Live entertainment will include music from Shots Fired Reloaded and Southern Straightaway.
Admission to the food tasting is free while a $5.00 admission charge will be requested to enter the beer and wine garden and the entertainment area.
Tickets and VIP packages are available now at www.marshallcountyuw.org or at the United Way office at 2701 N. Michigan Street. Tickets may also be purchased the day of the event at the gate.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the member agencies and sponsored programs with United Way of Marshall County. The entities serve at-need families across the community.
The Taste of Marshall County will set up at the Young Amphitheater in Centennial Park in Plymouth.
