The Plymouth City Council this week accepted letters of interest for the Hoham Drive project.
Road reconstruction is expected on Hoham Drive with the addition of a center turn lane, intersection improvements at Hoham Drive and Michigan Street along with Hoham Drive and Western Avenue, curb and gutter work, a controlled drainage system, and sidewalks.
Five companies submitted proposals for consulting services for the project. City Attorney Sean Surrisi simply opened the packets to reflect the action on the record. A committee will review those proposals and submit forms for the city council to review. Those committee volunteers include Council members Bill Walters and Don Ecker, Jr., and Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt.
City Engineer Rick Gaul will be putting paperwork together to present to INDOT for the project.
The project is anticipated to begin in 2018.
