Free breakfast and lunch for children ages 18 and under will be served at Menominee Elementary School and Plymouth High School this summer.
The USDA Summer Food Program assists children in the fight against hunger by serving over 200 million free meals to children ages 18 and younger at Summer Food Service Program sites around the country.
Every week day from now until Friday, July 14 the Menominee Elementary School and Plymouth High School will serve breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meals will not be served on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
All meals must be eaten on site and at least three items must be chosen for proper nutritional value. Adults may eat breakfast for $2.00 and lunch for $2.50.
