The 4th annual Art in the Street event is set for Saturday in downtown Plymouth.
It’s an art block party as art vendors will cascade Michigan Street from LaPorte to Garro Streets. Oil paintings, stained glass, photography, ceramics, metal work, watercolor, knitted items, hand-beaded semi-precious stone jewelry, and cutting boards are just a few of the things you’ll find from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
While you’re attending Art in the Street, view the entries in this year’s Indiana State Bar Association courthouse painting contest. Five different painters have depicted the Marshall County Courthouse and the winner will have their painting installed in a permanent courthouse collection belonging to the Indiana Bar Association. The paintings are on display in the Marshall County Visitor’s Center.
Kids can create their own masterpiece with chalk art and participate in other activities. Refreshments and music will be available all day.
The Art in the Street event is presented by Heartland Artists Gallery and Discover Plymouth.
