The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety (BPWS) approved the request for a temporary street closure south bound on Michigan St. from September 6 to the 16th made by Center Twp. Trustee Amy Knapp for the purpose of painting the concrete structure below the Michigan St. Viaduct.

The 4th annual Art in the Street event is set for Saturday in downtown Plymouth.
New housing, parks, and job opportunities are a few of the things Plymouth residents can expect to see in the near future, according to Mayor Mark Senter. During his annual State of the City Address Monday, Senter gave an update on the city’s progress in implementing its 2013 Comprehensive Plan.
Marshall County is taking part in a statewide art contest depicting historic or current courthouses located in each Indiana county.
Marshall County is now home to Jibey the bison. That’s the name chosen for the commemorative Bison-tennial statue unveiled Friday at the Marshall County Historical Society Museum in Plymouth.
Marshall County and the City of Plymouth will be commemorating Indiana’s bicentennial by installing a fiberglass bison sculpture in Downtown Plymouth. It’s part of the Bison-tennial Public Art Project, coordinated by the Indiana Association of United Ways.
