The Bremen Town Council now has control of the property that formally contained the Clark gas station at the corner of State Roads 331 and 106.
Bremen Director of Operations Trend Weldy says the county recently turned over the property to the town.
“The county waived the back taxes and gave it to the town of Bremen,” explains Weldy. “We will be doing some work on that and removing tanks and doing some demolition work there to level that piece of property. That will be our next project probably later on this summer.”
The town was also notified that the former Burger King property may also have a purchaser. Details related to that sale are not available. Weldy said sale information will be released at a later date.
