Plymouth Council Approves Updated Umbaugh Agreement

The City of Plymouth will soon be paying more for utility reports. The common council approved an updated agreement with accounting firm Umbaugh and Associates this week.

City Attorney Sean Surrisi said the company hadn’t increased the city’s rates for 11 years. “The fees from the 2006 agreement were at $3,250 per report, and that’s going up to $7,500 for the annual and $4,200 on the biannual reports,” he explained.

He added that the agreement also allows Umbaugh to adjust fees by up to three percent each year.
